time of year is spring!

We love spring here at FBG Headquarters. It means bright colours, fun prints and spring dresses! We picked out some amazing fabrics for this spring and can't wait for you to fall in love with them!

We're doing more custom orders this spring. As well, we introduced two new sizes: 16 and 18. We want everyone to be wearing our dresses!

We are all loving Odd Bird's new lockets. Each one features something different on the front. And these little bees are perfect for Valentine's Day!

If you're getting tired of wearing pants this winter, try out one of Whirl Girl's amazing skirts. In bamboo polar fleece or boiled woool, they wrap over leggings and tights to keep you cute and toasty warm. A selection of them are currently on sale, but they won't last long!

Rings are such a great accessory and they make an amazing gift as well. We've got a wide variety of rings at Fresh Collective, from fun ones with robots to classic silver ones. A lot of our rings our adjustable too, so you don't have to worry about finding the right size for a present. Stop by the store soon to pick out your favourites!

Birdy Polo Dress

Check out the new polo-style dress from Odd Bird!

It's army green with a sweet little birdy silk-screened onto it. While the dress does have short sleeves, we turned it into something that can be worn into the cooler weather by adding a sweater shrug (by Paper People Clothing) here. And it looks great worn over pants too. We completed the outfit with a nice brass oak leaf necklace from Sugar Rush and voila, instant new Fall outfit! Who says birds are meant for Spring/Summer fashions? If you love them as much as Odd Bird does then why not wear them all year round?

hat!

We love hats, especially warm and cozy winter ones. Our favourite hats right now are by Norma W. Why? One word: bunnies! We love the adorable rabbit applique on each fun, bright hat. You'll definitely want more than one.

new sweater!

We have a new sweater style and we are super duper excited about it! It's a super comfy, slightly oversized belted sweater! It features a great cable knit detail and ties at the waist with a belt, but it looks great worn open as well.

At first I was skeptical of the idea: combining wood with resin…but the results of this “Fall experiment” turned out better then expected!

Cowl Neck Sweater by Paper People

These sweaters are my absolute favourite! They're cute and cozy yet sophisticated. You can dress them up with a string of pearls and a sleek skirt and heels or you can bum around the house and pair them with jeans. I just brought a whole bunch of new ones in funky mohair textures. Check them out in green, purple, burgundy, goldenrod, black, navy and beige!

our favourite fall dress

Our favourite dress for fall is in the new Trapeze style. It features 3/4 length sleeves, a high waist and a gorgeous full skirt. We've done them up in wools, tweeds, plaids, and much more. Stop by the store to see all of the patterns and prints!

And just in time! Made from 100% organic cotton (shell) lined with kasha fleece backed satin and screen printed by yours truly, bundling up doesn't have to be boring. Go try one on tomorrow. Purple and green S/P-L/G are on the rack, brown and XLs coming soon!

our favourite jewellery for fall!

Sugar Rush has brought in some amazing new fall pieces and we are super excited about them. They feature leaves, owls, squirrels, deer, rabbits... all done with rich golds, greens, browns. Basically, they are a must-have accessory for fall!

our favourite new kids dress!

We are super excited that one of our favourite designers, Spruce Clothing, is now doing kids clothes! This little red dress is super comfy, easy to put on, and looks adorable. What more could you want in a little girl's dress? We love it!

little black dress!!!

We absolutely love this faux-wrap black dress from Norma W. It literally looks good on everyone. EVERYONE. The neck can be adjusted so it's more conservative, or if you're feeling a little va-va-voom, you can adjust it for a plunging neckline.

Below we have FBG staffers Jessie and Siân and Laura-Jean all rocking this fabulous and fierce little black number. Three different body types and three different ages as well! (Siân is 22, Jessie is 27 and Laura-Jean is 39).

Everybody needs one amazing black dress as a staple in their wardrobe, and we think this should be it!

I think I have found my new favourite thing to wear this summer!

I am really excited about the new dresses I will be bringing into the store very soon!
They are a simple style with an adorable kitty & goldfish bowl print. The look can be described as either a jumper dress, babydoll or A-line tunic...whatever you want to call it, it is a nice breezy style that you'll love to wear on those long hot summer days!
These look nice whether worn over linen pants or leggings but also work over jeans.
There are currently 2 colour offerings:

They called this colour "dirt" but really I think "neutral" sounds much nicer!

The kitty is printed in black ink so she stands out against the subtle shade of fabric.

And then we have some dresses in Antique White....

...with kitty printed in a bold blue ink.
Blue & white always looks so crisp & clean for summer!

new dress!

We were sorting through our patterns and found a pattern for one of our favourite dresses that we haven't made in a long time. We tweaked it and added a double layer ruffle of sheer cotton to make it the easiest, brezziest, summer dress ever! We love the fuller skirt and thin straps. And, if it's a little chilly out, just throw on a lovely Fresh Baked Goods sweater and you're set!

Favourite New Dress

We love this simple black tunic dress from GoGo Mama because it looks great either plain, or paired with fun accessories. And, best yet, it can also be worn as a maternity dress!

My Favourite New Spring attire!

Ah, the Laughing Fawn design. She made her first appearance on the domino jewellery:

Now she's featured on the new tops from Odd Bird for Spring!

The cutest fawn in the world (step aside Bambi!) has been printed on a petal pink Babydoll top with 3/4 length sleeves. The print is a light brown colour similar to the same shade as yummy chocolate milk!

It's a flowy fit top with a slight boat-neck & made from 100% pima cotton which is super-soft to wear....you may never want to take it off!


These sweet tops will make thier debut on Feb 14th at the store....just in time for Valentine's Day if your still looking for that perfect gift!
